This website has been established to meet several objectives:

1) To provide a safe and secure online location for anyone interested in obtaining audio speaker talks, books, and/or memorabilia related to the history of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon to shop and hopefully find what they are looking for at a price which they can afford.

2)To gather support through your purchases to continue the historical audio restoration project that was begun several years ago and is currently available in part on this website. To see our MP3 Library click MP3 Products. To read about the audio restoration project click Library.

3)To set a precedent for the future showing that the Traditions of A.A. should be conformed with, in respect to the anonymity of A.A. members both living and deceased at the public level. This is why the Audio Speaker Library is a Members Only section and we ask that all visitors respect A.A.'s Tradition of anonymity at the level of press, radio, film, and internet.

We hope that you have the opportunity to find historical memorabilia that will enhance your archive or collection. Because of the high demand for A.A. related collectables we will be adding items daily to the site. We are constantly looking to purchase items of interest that we can make available here at aaitems.com. Hopefully, you will visit our products section where you will find a large selection of A.A., Oxford Group, Al-Anon, and related books and memorabilia.

Our online audio speaker library contains over 5,000 speaker talks all in MP3 format, ready to download. Many of these talks have not been made available before because they were held on reel-to-reel tapes for many years. It's only now that we have begun to make these historic talks available.

Nothing would please us more than to introduce this website and make all of the materials "free" especially the "audio library". Unfortunately, the only way we can make these available to everyone is by charging a fee. The audio files are only $1.00 each. Please keep in mind that all of these files have been purchased and many of them have been taken directly off the original reel-to-reels, which is a very costly endeavor. We really thank you for your support with this project so that we can continue to preserve these old recordings.

Our hope is that this site will be used only as we intend it, as a tool to assist members of the various fellowships as they "carry the message" to all those who still suffer.
