This record plays at 78 speed and is in playable condition, I would recommend having it framed. Click title for more information..

For the serious collector or investor.

This will likely the only opportunity that you will ever have to actually own an item that was personal to Bill W.  The items listed on this website that have come from the personal library of Bill W are the only known items held in the private market that can be authenticated as having been owned by Bill W.

I am listing a small collection of audio items records and wire recordings on this website separately rather than as a collection thereby creating the opportunity for several people to own a piece of this historic collection. Because of the rarity of these items it is certain that the value continue increase over time.

This record was given to Bill Wilson by Jean B. Kerns, I’ve been unable to find out any information about her.  The writing on the record states the follows;

 First side – “Play this side first” which is a brief statement to Bill that simple says

 “Hello Bill, I had an inspiration from that higher power which I care to call God.  The result is on the other side MY DAILY PRAYER I hope you like it.”

Second side – “MY PRAYER” Music by Jean B. Kerns, sung by Cecil K accompanied by Jean Kearns. Copyrighted – 1951.

Own a piece of history!

In 1973 Lois Wilson decided to donate some items that belonged to Bill W to her friends from Texas Bill & Arbutus O'N.  Bill & Arbutus owned and operated the Midwest Tape Library which was a private library, dedicated to preserve the audio history of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon.

The O'Neal's did a wonderful job for many year's gathering recordings and other A.A./ Al-Anon memorabilia from all parts of the world and hardly a weekend past when Bill wasn't recording a round-up or convention.

Many of the recordings in our audio library have come from the Midwest Tape Library.
